Too high or too low humidity will cause a certain deformation of the belt, and the deformation will reduce the adhesive strength of the belt.In addition to the water-resistant sand belt, the general sand belt after the use of damp, are prone to discounting, wrinkling and other phenomena so that the sand belt scrap.In addition, the grinding material is easy to adhere to the surface of the belt when the belt is wetted, which reduces the service life of the belt.High temperature and low humidity have great influence on the paper - based sand belt, making the paper - based sand belt brittle, easy to break and scrap.

1.2 the storage

The warehouse where the belt is stored should be cool, dry and ventilated.The belt should be placed on the cargo rack, not on the ground.The cargo rack should not only keep a distance of 200-500mm from the floor and walls, but also avoid being close to heat dissipation and drainage devices.Try not to open the packing case with unused belt.Do not pile heavy objects on the sandbelt boxes to avoid creases and cracks in the sandbelt.

2.1 suspension of sand belt

The belt should be hung for at least 2-5 days before use. The purpose is to eliminate crimp caused by packaging.

Hang the unpacked belt on the 100-200mm diameter pipe or special belt support rack.The length of the pipe should be greater than the width of the sand belt, otherwise the sand belt is easy to fall off or produce a bell mouth;The pipe should be in a horizontal state, otherwise it is easy to damage the edge of the sand belt.

The ambient temperature and humidity of the suspended belt should meet the storage conditions of the belt. The simplest method is to keep dry with a few 40W or 64W light bulbs in a sealed room.
